Pub delivers free pints to regulars ‘to put a smile on their faces’ in coronavirus lockdown – The Sun

A PUB has been delivering FREE pints to it's regulars as the lockdown in Scotland is extended for another three weeks.

The Bay Horse pub in Scotland delivered the beers to customers from a safe distance – just to "put a wee smile on their faces".

Taking to social media earlier this week, the Glasgow pub announced it was planning on delivering the free drinks to the door – as they urged customers to "stay home stay safe",

They wrote: "Here @ The Bay Horse we are looking to give out a FREE pint to our regular customers

"We will deliver to your door while complying with the government rules of 2 metre distance there will be no physical contact involved and our drivers will be wearing appropriate gloves ? to keep them and you safe ?

"PM myself on this page and drop my your name and address we will do our best to get a pint to you this week ? if anyone knows any our regulars who don’t have access to Facebook please send their name and address also! Stay home stay safe."

Yesterday, they showed their successful efforts – sharing snaps of happy customers following the deliveries.

They wrote: "Good day today delivering some FREE pints to ours regular customers was good to see them and put a wee smile on their faces even if it was from a distance ?missing you all

"Social distance in place along with gloves and masks to keep everyone safe. Sorry if we didn’t get to you today with may do another day so watch our page"

Punters flocked to the post online – prasing the pub for the "lovely gesture".

One punter wrote: "That's a lovely thing to do.very thoughtful."

While another added: "Aww that is such a lovely gesture , well done bay horse."
