The end to the third season of Young Sheldon is just around the corner, with the latest episode airing on CBS and All4 on April 30. Each season so far has been made up of 22 episodes, so fans can expect another two episodes in season three before the series comes to an end. Young Sheldon, which is a prequel series to the classic Big Bang Theory, stars Raegan Revord as Missy Cooper, Sheldon’s twin sister.
With only a couple of episodes of season three left to air, fans are already talking about what will happen in the new series.
Season 4 of Young Sheldon was given the green light at the same time as season three, and the new series is most likely to air in September this year.
Fans of the series have watched Missy Cooper grow across the three series, and although she teases Sheldon (Iain Armitage), she admits she does not feel herself when he is not there.
She starts off the first series the same age as Sheldon, who is nine-years-old when he first starts high school, and fans are wondering how old she will be in season four.
Sheldon starts college at the age of 11, so Missy, whose real name is Melissa, will be the same age in the new series.

Throughout the series, she has fought for the attention of her parents Mary (Zoe Perry) and George (Lance Barber), with child genius Sheldon being the leading light.
Her jealousy means she is sometimes disrespectful towards Sheldon and gets thrills out of watching him suffer at school, but she somehow always ends up on his side.
She also has a close relationship with her older brother Georgie (Montana Jordan), but as she shares a room with Sheldon she sees when he is going through a tough time and will always support him.
Missy does not share her brother’s enthusiasm for schoolwork and instead prefers to watch TV, and fans believe her lack of enthusiasm could foreshadow how she ends up working as a Fuddruckers hostess.
In real life Revord is 12-years-old, so she had to learn to play a slightly younger version of herself in the series.
Her character makes appearances in the original Big Bang Theory, and the young adult Missy is played by Courtney Henggeler.
At this point, she is working as a hostess at Fuddruckers and had romantic moments with three of Sheldon’s friends – Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar).
She also features as an adult in the series and she ends up admitting to Sheldon (Jim Parsons) she is proud of him and boasts to her friends about having a “rocket scientist” for a brother.
One of Missy’s final appearances is when she attends the wedding of her twin brother, appearing physically for the first time in ten years. In the episode, she is pregnant and separated from her husband.

Speaking to Channel 9 about her experience as a child actor Revord said she had to give up public school and start homeschooling when she started acting.
She said many of her friends are actors, and they have stayed friends even after she got cast as one of the main roles in Young Sheldon.
Revord said: “I had been doing acting, modelling and commercial when I was four years old and when I was five I started doing TV and movies, and when I got the show I was nine.
“I have been doing acting for a while so I didn’t really take any classes [for Young Sheldon].
She also appeared on KTLA 5 back in 2018 when she was 10, and was known for always carrying her stuffed toy ‘snowflake’ the dog around with her, revealing it belonged to her great grandmother.

In the latest series Missy ends up getting a boyfriend who plays baseball, just like her, and she is worried he will dump her if she wins against him.
Even though she does defeat him in the game he continues to hold hands with her, which she is delighted about.
Although her character is considered the least successful of the three siblings, she is the most socially adept and knows how to build relationships with people.
