Spoilers: Darren speaks to a doctor in Hollyoaks after Kyle suicide tragedy

Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) opened up to a doctor about his depression in Hollyoaks, as Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) made a shock discovery about his best mate.

Darren opened up to Luke about depression last week, but Luke said some incredibly hurtful things to his mate — claiming that he had no justifiable reason to be depressed.

Darren was heartbroken, and therefore set off to speak to Kyle (Adam Rickitt), but in doing so, he learned that his pal had taken his own life.

A devastated Darren relayed the tragic news to Nancy (Jessica Fox), and Luke was in shock when he found out what had happened — as the tragedy made him re-evaluate what he’d said to Darren.

With emotions running high in the village, Nancy attempted to come to terms with what had happened — something she struggled to do.

Meanwhile, Luke sought Darren out and apologised for what he’d said — promising to be more of a mate and listen more in future.

He revealed that the very fact that he didn’t attempt to understand what Darren was going through was, in itself, the problem and therefore he promises to be more understanding moving forward.

However, Darren broke down, as he revealed that Kyle had once saved his life — something which left Luke shocked.

As a result, Luke wasted little time in taking Darren to see a GP, and informed Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) to meet them there.

When he arrived, Darren revealed to the doctor that he’s ready to open up.
