Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) is determined to manipulate the situation to his advantage in Coronation Street, but doing so has been difficult with Sally (Sally Dynevor) on the case, and thus he confronts her in the coming episodes.
Geoff has been determined to play the victim following the altercation with Yasmeen (Shelley King), but Sally knows there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
With Alya (Sair Khan) having revealed that Yasmeen is the victim of abuse at Geoff’s hands, the former Mayor of Weatherfield is determined to find out the truth.
In episodes due to be broadcast this week, Sally asks Tim (Joe Duttine) to kick Geoff out, as she’s evidently struggling to live under the same roof as her father-in-law following the escort reveal.
It appears as if Geoff is starting to realise that Sally’s snooping could pose a great risk not only to his freedom, but also to his relationship with his son, and therefore he confronts her on the matter.
Coronation Street has revealed that — in the coming episodes — an angry Geoff confronts Sally, telling her that she’s causing both he and Tim too much stress.
Will he intimidate her into backing down?
That’s not the only drama for Sally either, as once Faye (Ellie Leach) learns that Sally kicked Geoff out, she resolves to move in with her granddad — leaving Tim furious.
Coronation Street continues Monday 8 June at 7:30pm on ITV.
