Piers Morgan has said he blames Meghan Markle for his Good Morning Britain departure in a new interview.
The controversial host spoke on 60 Minutes Australia about his recent experiences, which saw him leave the ITV show following backlash over his comments made about the former royal.
Meghan, who is expected to give birth to her second child any day, personally complained to ITV about Piers, who said he didn't believe her claims of having had suicidal thoughts.
Now, launching another attack on the Duchess of Sussex, Piers said: "I didn't know this at the time but Meghan Markle had complained to my boss at ITV on the Monday night.
"It was demanded I apologise for disbelieving her or I would have to vacate my chair.
"I thought there was hypocrisy, I thought there were downright lies coming out in this interview."
Piers had nitpicked Meghan's chat with Oprah Winfrey, pulling apart her comments one by one on Good Morning Britain.
He added on the Australian show: "I saw my job to hold these two people to the same account I would hold a government minister and for doing that, within 36 hours I had to leave the job."

Piers told 60 Minutes host Karl Stefanovic that Meghan "tells lies".
"You're not allowed to have strong opinions about things, you're not allowed to disbelieve a liar like Meghan Markle," he said.
"I'm sorry to call her that but she tells lies. We've demonstrated and proven that."
A previously released preview clip showed Piers saying that something Meghan had claimed "would make the Archbishop of Canterbury a criminal".

She had claimed that she and Prince Harry got married three days before their televised event, something which was proven to be false.
He said: "There were a lot of things coming out of Meghan Markle's mouth in particular, that I knew weren't true."
Speaking of Meghan, Piers went on: "Why can't we disbelieve someone like that?
"If you start telling me a load of whoppers right now, am I supposed to believe you?

Elsewhere in the interview, Piers said self-professed "woke" people are actually rather "illiberal" and compared them to "Kim Jong-un with a dash of Vladimir Putin".
He warned the "woke brigade" that what they are doing right now "will be inappropriate in 50 years time".
"You'll all get cancelled," he said, "you won't be nearly good enough, or virtuous enough for the woke brigade in 50 years' time.
"That's what they don't realise, is that once you start this process, everything becomes problematic, everything becomes something that has to be cancelled."
