Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) was overwhelmed with joy in Coronation Street upon discovering that Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) had been charged with Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) murder.

The huge development, of course, meant that Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) had grounds to appeal her conviction, not to mention a tonne of new evidence to prove that Corey was the killer, not Kelly.

Monday’s (November 8) edition of the ITV serial drama will see the solicitor launch an appeal, with a hearing taking place during the episode in question.

The judge declares Kelly free, and reveals that she will be released immediately, leaving the teen stunned.

But her happiness is short-lived, however, as she returns to the street and ends up getting into a heated showdown with Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher).

Spotting Nina across the street, Kelly heads over to apologise for what transpired.

But Nina, as seen in the above clip, is having none of it.

‘You assaulted me!’, she yells. ‘You set the whole thing in motion. You ran away leaving Seb to die. It didn’t just HAPPEN. You made it happen.’

Nina adds: ‘You selfish little cow. You just want me to say everything is cool between us so you can carry on living your life.

‘NEVER going to happen.’

Kelly is rendered speechless, realising that settling back in life in Weatherfield isn’t going to be as easy as she once thought!

Coronation Street airs these scenes Monday November 8 at 8:30pm on ITV.
