Good Morning Britain presenters hint Susanna Reid could be on The Masked Dancer

Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has raised suspicions that she she could be appearing on the Masked Dancer as one of the contestants.

The GMB host, who usually presents the breakfast programme in the weekdays, has been replaced by hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Adil Ray.

Last week, TV personality Will Njobvu dropped a major hint that Susanna might be taking part in the dance programme and could in fact be Knickerbocker Glory as he discussed some of the potential names taking part in the dance series.

Will said: "As you can imagine, Twitter has gone mad with speculations as fans try and guess who else could be underneath those masks and costumes.

"Some people are saying that maybe TV personality Zoe Ball could be the celeb behind the llama costume and others are certain that another star with Strictly connections, Maisie Smith, could be squirrel."

He added: "But do you know what, I’ve been thinking, I’ve been connecting the dots this morning, could GMB’s very own Susanna Reid be behind one of the masks? Look I’m onto something here.

"Oti even thinks it’s her after speculating that Knickerbocker Glory was a journalist because the word 'scoop' was mentioned in the dancer’s VT."

Turning to journalist Sean Fletcher, he asked: "Now it could even be Charlotte Hawkins actually. What do u think Sean?"

Sean replied: "Well, Susanna’s not in all week so who knows? It could be that…"

If Susanna is one of the stars on The Masked Dancer, this won't be the first time she's appeared on a reality programme, as she previously starred in Strictly Come Dancing in 2013.

Last weekend, The Masked Dancer kicked off on ITV with judges Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse and Mo Gilligan trying their best to guess who was behind the elaborate costumes.

Jordan Banjo and Louise Redknapp have already been revealed so far on the show.

Before the new series aired, presenter Joel Dommett told fans that there will be some unexpected surprises in store.

He said: "My assumption with The Masked Dancer was that the names would be lesser than The Masked Singer.

"But I can honestly tell you the names are equal to, if not better. There are some amazing reveals. One in particular completely took us all by surprise.

"You just wouldn’t expect someone like this to do the show. It’s the biggest reaction we’ve had."
