First look at all of the film and TV shows coming to Prime Video UK in March

Since the start of the pandemic, watching TV is one of the easiest activities to do for a temporary escape. If you've just about watched everything on all of the streaming platforms, Amazon Prime Video has a plethora of new releases sure to keep us entertained.

Although there's some good news, with lockdown restrictions set to ease slowly over the next few weeks; until then, we'll have enough time to get caught up with all of our favourite content.

March seems to be a great month for new releases, with highly anticipated arrivals on the way that are sure to be a hit.

One of the most keenly awaited films is the Coming to America sequel. Over 30 years later, fans of the hit rom-com are finally getting the follow up to this love story. The sequel features original cast members Eddie Murphy, Shari Headley and James Earl Jones; as well as some new faces like Teyana Taylor and Leslie Jones. Coming 2 America is exclusive to Amazon and comes out on March 5.

80's cult-film fans also have something to look forward to throughout March, with familiar favourites also coming to the streaming platform including The Breakfast Club (March 1) and Batteries Not Included (March 22).

Prime Video subscription costs £7.99 a month, if you're a first timer to the platform use the 30-day free trial and avoid charges by cancelling the day before.

We've categorised all of the new release by date, the beginning of March appears to be the most plentiful – with five drops on March 1 alone.
