Brooke Shields poses with daughter Rowan, 18, in rare photo as she wears actress' 1998 Golden Globes gown to prom

BROOKE Shields posed with her 18-year-old daughter, Rowan, who wore her mom’s iconic 1998 Golden Globes gown to her senior prom.

The Blue Lagoon actress gushed she’s a “proud mama” as she embraced her gorgeous girl in the parking lot before the teen festivities.

Brooke, 56, shared a rare snap with Rowan on her Instagram Saturday morning.

The high schooler wore the beautiful strapless red silk dress that fit her like a globe 23 years after her mom made the garment famous.

Mom-of-two Brooke looked pretty in a white blouse, matching pants and a Chanel bag as she hugged her daughter.

She captioned the sentimental post: “I thought it was a special night when I was nominated for a Golden Globe and wore this dress in 1998.

“But nothing could have prepared me to see my daughter wearing it to her prom. Proud mama!”

The star wore the dress when she was nominated in 1998 for best television actress in a musical or comedy series for her show Suddenly Susan.

Brooke shares daughters Rowan and Grier Hammond, 15, with her screenwriter husband Chris Henchy, 57.

The couple married in 2001 and the family lives together in New York City.

Brooke was previously married to tennis legend Andre Agassi from 1997 to 1999.

She appeared healthy months after she revealed she broke her femur and was learning how to walk on crutches.

Brooke explained she's only allowed to put about 20 percent of her full body weight on her fractured thighbone.

"The goal is to bend the knee each time a little bit just so you're not dragging or hitching up your hip," the mother-of-two said.

A fractured femur or thighbone is usually treated with surgery and intensive therapy and it can take months for the bone to heal.

The former model has increased her fitness regimen since lockdown began last March.

Brooke has been documenting her intense workouts using an exercise ball from her Hamptons summer home.

Last month, she posted a clip from a grueling gym session and explained that she was on a "14 day transformation" with a personal trainer.

The former child actress said last year that she feels "physically better than ever" in her 50s.

"People my age can get crossed off at a certain point – like you've had a good run, you've had your kids, you've had your career, you're done," she told InTouch.

"We can really inspire each other right now to do something within our power to feel better."
