Borat 'defends' Rudy Giuliani over 'innocent sexy time' scene in sequel

Borat has ‘defended’ Rudy Giuliani following a controversial scene from the newly released sequel – although we’re not sure the former New York mayor will appreciate it all that much.

The Kazakhstani journalist, played by Sacha Baron Cohen, has his very own TikTok, and has spoken out in defence of Giuliani, 76.

In Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, the Republican attorney lies down on a hotel bed and puts his hands down his trousers while in a room with 24-year-old actress Maria Bakalova.

Bakalova was playing Borat’s teenage daughter Tutar, posing as a TV journalist, and claimed to be interested in marrying a member of President Donald Trump’s inner circle.

Giuliani – Trump’s lawyer – had his hands in his pants shortly before Borat burst into the room and said: ‘She’s 15! She’s too old for you.’

In a new TikTok video laden with innuendo, Borat defended ‘Rudolph’ against the ‘fake news media’.

He said: ‘I here to defend America’s mayor Rudolph Giuliani. What was an innocent sexy time encounter between a consenting man and my 15-year-old daughter have been turned into something disgusting by fake news media.

‘I warn you, anyone else try this and Rudolph will not hesitate to reach into his legal briefs and whip out his subpoenas.’

Although Borat Subsequent Moviefilm has only just launched on Amazon Prime, the Giuliani scene went viral after the review embargo broke on Wednesday.

The scene was reportedly filmed back in February, and Giuliani has called the stunt a ‘complete fabrication’.

He tweeted: ‘The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.

‘At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.

‘In fact, the NY Post today reports “it looks to me like an exaggeration through editing.” As soon as I realized it was a set up I called the police, which has been noted in THR article on July 8th.

‘This is an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family. Deadline Hollywood reports CAA had a distribution screening in September where there was no mention of the scene holding any importance.

‘We are preparing much bigger dumps off of the hard drive from hell, of which Joe Biden will be unable to defend or hide from. I have the receipts.’

Giuliani earlier claimed that he went to what he thought was a ‘legitimate’ interview, but became suspicious when Borat’s ‘daughter’ asked if he’d like a massage, at which point he called his security guard and later the police.

The attorney alleges that the set-up was a ‘hit job’ after he unveiled unverified emails said to show Joe Biden’s son Hunter using his father’s influence to set up deals with Chinese and Ukrainian companies.

Giuliani isn’t the only real-life figure involved in the Borat sequel; Baron Cohen, dressed in a Trump mask, crashes Vice President Mike Pence’s speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, while carrying a woman over his shoulders.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is out now on Amazon Prime.
