BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent leaves co-star mortified after brutal reaction to her real life dating story | The Sun

BBC BREAKFAST's Sally Nugent left her co-star mortified after her reaction to her real life dating story.

During this morning's edition of the flagship Beeb programme Sally Nugent and Jon Kay were presenting, when Nina Warhurst made a surprising admission.

The topic under discussion was auto-renewals and how some members of the public may not be aware money is being debited from their bank accounts.

BBC Breakfast presenter Nina told viewers how £300million is being spent on apps that aren't being used.

The 42-year-old then got personal as she bravely shared her story of being stung by a dating app subscription.

Nina revealed: "I was caught out on a dating site, before I met my husband."

She continued: "I signed up to it and went on some horrific dates."

But Sally interrupted and said: "You went on a dating website? There's the headline for this morning."

She erupted into laughter as co-presenter Jon said: "Come and sit over here Nina."

Nina eventually continued with her story and shared how she discovered the dating site was still debiting money from her account.

She shared: "So yeah, went on some horrific dates decided it wasn't for me and tried to come off it and then looked at my bank account a few months later, the money was still coming out.

"I appealed so they let me cancel it at that point but a lot of the money was lost."

Sally's reaction to Nina revealing she was on a dating site didn't go down well with viewers at home who slammed the presenter.

One viewer said: "I still don't get why Sally found Nina going on a dating app so hilarious, almost shocking. Most couples meet online. Been like that for years."

Another said: "There's no chemistry between Sally and Nina, just professional rivalry. #bbcbreakfast."
