Tess Daly rarely strays from her signature beauty look – sleek blonde hair, a mid-length cut and natural makeup – and she’s always the picture of youth. Now, for a new shoot with fashion brand Biba, Tess looks even more amazing (if that’s possible).
The 53 year old has ditched her mid-length hair in favour of seriously long tresses that reach down to her waist. She’s had her hair styled into a poker-straight style, accentuating just how long it is. Since it’s unlikely that Tess has grown several inches of hair overnight, we can only assume that she’s had temporary extensions added to boost its length and thickness.
Tess’ youthful looks have been noticed by fans this week after the star posted a throwback snap of herself and husband Vernon Kay.
"23 birthdays later. HBD @vernonkay," she captioned the Instagram post.
"You two haven’t changed one bit!" one wrote with a heart eyes emoji as another chimed in with, "You both don’t age!" alongside a pink heart emoji, a celebration emoji and a heart eyes emoji.
While Tess has tagged the outfit details for her new Biba x House of Fraser collection, she sadly hasn’t mentioned anything about her haircare in the post. We’ll be waiting anxiously for an update.
On the subject of Tess and her changing beauty look, we couldn’t help but notice that the heavy eyeliner she wore to the BAFTAs was very similar to her Strictly co-hostClaudia Winkleman’s signature look. As Claudia was absent from this year’s red carpet festivities due to her ongoing tour “Behind The Fringe”, maybe Tess’s look was a nod to her TV partner in crime? We like to think so.
If you, like the Strictly presenters, love a smudgy look, you can recreate it with the exact products makeup artist Aimee Adams used on Tess for the BAFTAs.
The smoky shadow look was created with a mixture of Sculpted By Aimee Sultry Stories Eyeshadow Palette,£35 here, and Hildun Beauty Silk to Set Kajal Liner in Noir,£16 here, offset with Sculpted by Aimee My Mascara, usually £17, and Flicker Cosmetics Naked Lash Trios,£18 here.
As for her gorgeous glowing base, this was down to yet more Sculpted by Aimee goodness in the form of Beauty Base in Rose Golden,£23 here, Second Skin Foundation,£25 here, and Liquid Lights Blush in Pink Lite,£13 here.
