After spending so much time at home this year watching every show and movie that was released, this year's Golden Globes seem a little more special.
Big surprises made headlines when the full list of nominees was released, like Emily in Paris nabbing a nomination for both Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy and Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy for Lily Collins. Not as surprising? The Queen's Gambit's nomination for Best Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television and a nod for Anya Taylor-Joy. Naturally, with nominations come plenty of controversies, and 2021's Golden Globes were no different, with critics calling out snubs, like HBO's I May Destroy You. It's not all bad news, though, because Chloé Zhao became the first Asian woman to ever be nominated for Best Director, Motion Picture.

Tune in on Sunday, February 28, for the full show on NBC starting at 5 P.M. ET.
