Prince Harry’s close friend Nacho Figueras has defended ‘wonderful human being’ Ellen DeGeneres amid reports of a ‘toxic’ work culture on the set of her show, claiming she ‘makes the world a better place for millions.’
The Argentinian, 42, who has long been a vocal supporter for the Duke, 35, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in September last year to defend the couple.
He has now shared an Instagram post praising Ellen after one current and 10 former employees alleged the overt positivity of The Ellen DeGeneres Show was underscored by bullying and racism.
The polo player called the world ‘a very dangerous place’, explaining: ‘We are all so scared to say what we really think and it seems that we are only relevant if we say whatever the trending social media topic is.’

Sharing a snapshot alongside the A-list presenter, he commented: ‘I have been patiently waiting for someone with more authority than me to speak up about what a great human being @theellenshow is.
‘I have been very lucky to be on that show many times and I can tell you that it is a very well run machine, everyone was super nice, not just to me but to each other and anyone involved.
‘I have seen Ellen act not just in her show but in public appearances in theaters where she is nice to absolutely everyone, the guy serving the coffee, the person in the elevator, the security guy and the owner of the venue.’
He continued: ‘Everyone loves her because that is who she is. She makes the world a better place for millions of people everyday and we cannot hit her because something may have not been perfect.’

‘No one is perfect, and we cannot control everything.’
‘So I stand for you my friend and I challenge all the amazing people that know you and call you a friend to say who you are.’
He went on: ‘The world has become a very dangerous place because it seems that we cannot make anything right.
‘If I am going to be criticized for defending someone that I think deserves to be defended then so be it.’

Nacho, who has been described by Tatler as the ‘David Beckham of polo’ and ‘one of the most recognisable players in the world, has actively spoken out to defend Harry.
The father-of-four, who attended the Sussex wedding and has played polo alongside Harry in various polo matches, appeared on Ellen’s show in September to announce that he would ‘defend his friends’ with his life.
During the interview he also described Meghan as ‘incredible’, and revealed how she ‘gave up everything for the man she loves’.
Last year he launched a selection of six fragrances, including one named ‘Windsor’, which hinted at a ‘brotherhood of kindred spirits’ with the Duke.
Nacho, who has known Prince Harry for 13 years, was a guest at the Sussex wedding and was one of their first friends to visit them in Windsor after welcoming baby Archie
His comments come after speculation arose about Ellen’s future on the Ellen DeGeneres Show as one current and 10 former employees alleged the overt positivity of the programme was underscored by bullying and racism.
A separate batch of allegations last week involved dozens of former employees who launched sexual misconduct accusations at three show producers, which Ellen allegedly ‘turn[ed] a blind eye’ to.
Sources previously told DailyMail.com that Ellen, faced with a mounting tide of negative press and few defenders, was considering quitting the TV series amid a investigation by WarnerMedia.
Actors Brad Garrett and Leah Thompson further fueled the flames against Ellen by revealing it was ‘common knowledge’ that the TV host had a reported mean streak.
