Holly Willoughby v Phillip Schofield net worth: Which Dancing on Ice host has earned more?

Holly Willoughby jokes about ‘dancing in her pants’

Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield are best friends, having presented both This Morning and Dancing on Ice together for years. But one of them is richer than the other.

Phillip is worth £8million, while Holly has an estimated net worth of £10million, according to Spear’s Magazine.

Although she is almost 20 years younger than her co-star, Holly’s long and varied career in the spotlight has earned her more money than Phillip.

Holly was born in Brighton and, at the early age of 14, was spotted by talent scouts and signed with British model agency Storm Management.

The blonde beauty started appearing in magazines for teenage girls, such as ‘Just Seventeen’, ‘More!’ and ‘Mizz’.

At 17, Holly began modelling for lingerie brands like Pretty Polly, and was seen on advertisements and posters.

After working different jobs, such as a receptionist, runner and assistant manager, Holly’s big break in television came in 2002 when the BBC saw a showreel a friend had made of her.

She presented multiple children’s programmes, including Xchange and CBBC at the Fame Academy, before co-hosting CITV’s Ministry of Mayhem with Stephen Mulhern in 2004.

The programme was a success for Holly: its name was changed in 2006 to Holly and Stephen’s Saturday Showdown, and she met her would-be husband on set, producer Dan Baldwin.

The pair married in 2007 when Holly was 26 years old.

Holly co-hosted the final of Stars in Their Eyes in 2004 and, in 2005, was the regular host of ITV’s CD:UK, which also featured guest presenters such as Kelly Osbourne, Rachel Stevens and Brittany Murphy.

After winning a BAFTA Children’s Award for presenting in 2006, she was chosen to co-present Dancing on Ice with Phillip.

Both stars remained as hosts until 2011, and later returned in 2018.

Holly has hosted a string of other programmes, from being one of the two original team captains on Celebrity Juice from 2008 until 2020, to co-presenting The Voice UK with Reggie Yates in 2012.

In September 2009, Holly joined This Morning, co-presenting once again alongside Phillip.

Philip, who was born in Lancashire, entered a career in broadcasting at the young age of 17 and is best known for his longstanding role on This Morning, which he first appeared on in 2002.

In 2017, it was reported that Phillip was earning more money for This Morning than co-star Holly, even though both were doing the same job.

Holly eventually received a £200,000 pay rise in 2018 to match Phillip’s salary of £600,000, while the pair also earn an equal fee of £200,000 a year for Dancing on Ice.

Holly has a productions company called Peaches Productions Ltd, which was worth around £1.5million in 2014.

She is also a current brand ambassador for both Garnier and Marks & Spencer.

Viewers can watch Holly and Phillip tonight on Dancing on Ice’s thirteenth series edition, where the pair will once again be introducing celebrities and their partners, including Myleene Klass, Jason Donovan, Colin Jackson and more.

Although nobody went home in the show’s launch episode last week, Emmerdale actor Joe-Warren Plant and rapper Lady Leshurr landed in the bottom two after the public vote was tallied with the judges’ scores.
