Nostalgia was rife as Dawn French returned to screens during BBC’s Big Night In, as much-adored character Reverend Geraldine Granger from The Vicar of Dibley.
Yet, when the 62 year old actress isn’t wowing on TV screens in the likes of The Trouble with Maggie Cole, she’s spending time at her stunning £3million mansion in Cornwall.
Based in a picturesque place named Fowey, the jaw-dropping home became Dawn’s back in 2006 and we can hardly blame her for choosing the beautiful location.
The star, who adopted her daughter Billie in 1991, often takes to Twitter to share sweet photos of her stunning home and its intricacies.
We caught a glimpse of her elegant dining area, clad with cutlery and Chinese food as the actress enjoyed a night feasting.
She captioned the shot: “Oh my. @Kwoklyn_Wan has smashed it with this PHENOMENAL book! This was my supper tonight, cooked by husband & daughter. Yum.”

We’ve also seen snaps of Dawn’s delightful decorating skills, through pictures of neatly organised flowers and walls with hanging love hearts made of wood.
Capturing the vibe of Cornwall and its beachy landscapes, Dawn has little pots of seashells scattered about her abode.
On the topic of pots, another one has some very bizarre and creepy dolls' heads inside it. Dawn wrote: “You say sinister. I say interesting collection thank you . #onmydesk,” as she posted the photo to her 418,000 Twitter followers.
