The government measures, as a result of the coronavirus, meant couples were left with a tricky decision on their hands – isolate alone, or together?
And, as a result of lockdown, relationships have been feeling the strain, as sanctions prevent free movement like we’ve never seen before, leading a handful of celebs to part ways with their partners.
Feeling the pressure, a handful of these couples have listed the pandemic as the reason behind their split. Here’s a look at those who’ve chosen to bid farewell to their relationships during the COVID-19 outbreak…
Georgia Steel and Callum Izzard
Ibiza Weekender star Callum had set his sights on marriage to Love Island’s Georgia Steel, just a month after they started dating last year, but the pair have since gone their separate ways.
Breaking her silence on the split, Georgia, 22, said she wants to “focus on herself,” during an interview with FUBAR Radio’s Access All Areas.
The stunning star explained when asked about the breakup: “I’m a good believer in everything happens for a reason and I’m just rolling with it to be fair.”
A source also told The Sun Online: “They were recently flat hunting in Manchester together, but it’s been called off. Georgia is now planning to move up to Manchester alone.”

The pair share a bungalow together which is currently undergoing refurbishment. The account was last posted on at the end of April, with an image of the bathroom being shared.

A pal of their pair has now revealed there was no infidelity between the two and the relationship had simply run its course.
A source close to the couple told OK! online: "The reason Wes and Arabella split up is simply because the spark was gone.
"At the start they kept seeing each other non-stop and were infatuated with each other, but over the past couple of months things haven't been right between them.
"Wes and Arabella aren't the kind of people to cheat, or start looking elsewhere when things go bad, so they agreed to end things.
"It was a mutual decision and they're finished with each other now. The magic just wasn't there anymore".
Chris Hughes and Jesy Nelson
Little Mix star Jesy Nelson reportedly called time on her romance with Love Island’s Chris Hughes after coronavirus restrictions took their toll.
The pair dated for 18 months had even discussed marriage not long before the split.
Shortly after their break-up, making the most of his Easter weekend at his parents' farm, Chris, 27, shared a clip of him having fun driving around in a Range Rover across an enormous field and playing with his puppies.
