There’s a lot to get excited about this Easter.
After a long wait we’ll finally be able to socialise with up to five other people outdoors, which means BBQs could be on the table for the bank holiday weekend – if the British weather permits.
If you’re looking for other activities to enjoy, Cadbury has launched a new edible DIY project.
The chocolate giant has brought out a new Easter cottage kit, which comes with all the sections you need to make an adorable little house.
Essentially, it’s like the Easter equivalent of a Christmas gingerbread house.
The self assembly kit includes two 200g Dairy Milk bars, two 95g Dairy Milk bars and two 100g Dairy Milk Spring bars for the construction of the house, plus two 14.5g portions of white buttons and some Mini Eggs for decoration.
What’s more, the Dairy Milk Spring bars (which make up the roof) feature mini white chocolate bunnies, for an extra special Easter twist.
Sadly, the cottage kit isn’t available in UK supermarkets but it can be purchased from Cadbury Gifts Direct for £16.
It’s safe to say that sweet tooths have already been raving about the egg-citing new product on Facebook. But many have pointed out that they would struggle to resist eating the entire contents of the box before assembly was complete.
One person said: ‘The Easter bunny needs to bring me this house to go with my festive house making…. the only problem is that I would be eating it as I’m making it.’
While another wrote: ‘Don’t think this would end up a cottage, it will all be in my belly before building it.’
Elsewhere in the world of confectionery, a baker has revealed how to make Biscoff French toast roll-ups, which are guaranteed to improve your weekend brunch game.
