Paloma Faith has shared an image of herself with tears in her eyes as she reveals her nipples have "cracked" following her postpartum health diagnosis.
The 39 year old welcomed her second child with boyfriend Leyman Lahcine earlier this week, but announced she had been diagnosed with acute breast engorgement.
According to the NHS, breast engorgement is "when your breasts get too full of milk and can happen in the early days when you and your baby are still getting used to breastfeeding."
They continue: "It can take a few days for your milk supply to match your baby's needs."

Singer Paloma had previously opened up on her battle with the condition on social media, but has now opened up on how her nipples have "cracked" due to the engorgement.
Posting to her 603,000 Instagram followers, Paloma shared an image of herself with tear-stained eyes.
She wrote alongside the emotional snap: "This is what your milk coming in does to you.
"It f**ks you up. Now my nips have cracked too," she continued as she went on to list how she was feeling.
"Engorged, cracked, emotional, missing first child, great combo," the Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker said.
The upload came hours after she revealed she had turned to cabbage leaves in an attempt to soothe her breasts following the diagnosis.

She once again took to Instagram to share a photo of her cabbage-covered breasts.
She wrote alongside the black and white image: "Day 3 and my milk has come in…
"I've been diagnosed with acute engorgement. This means I have too much milk and the baby isn't big or strong enough to drain it and get it out. It's painful. The boobs are rock hard.

"I'm trying massage while feeding, it hurts so much like a deep tissue massage and not much is helping.
"Hot showers/massage/hand expressing and poor baby is really over it with the exhausting hard work she needs to do to get the milk out of all those swollen blocked ducts.
"I've been told it should settle. Let's hope I don't end up in a and e with it before that!
"This is some next level pain! Mum life is REALLLLLLL," she continued to tell her fans.
