Strictly Come Dancing winners Kevin Clifton, 37, and his girlfriend Stacey Dooley, 33, have been staying together during the lockdown following the coronavirus pandemic. The Grimsby-born performer took to Twitter and he revealed he hadn’t “cried so much” after watching a particular programme.
Kevin revealed he is a keen viewer of Ricky Gervais’ Netflix series After Life which recently premiered season two.
In view of his 251,000 Twitter followers, he wrote: “Finished #AfterLife2 last night. The last time I cried this much was at the end of #Afterlife1 . Just beautiful . Thanks @rickygervais.”
Fans inundated the former Strictly performer with comments, as they echoed a similar sentiment.
One person said: “I started to watch it last night but only made it to the end of episode one. Feeling a bit too emotionally fragile to resume it today, But full of admiration for @rickygervais for creating a series which tackles the issue of grief head on and with such raw honesty & humour.”(sic)
