Dr Hilary Jones’ wife is proud he has become coronavirus pandemic ‘pin-up’ with GMB appearances

Dr Hilary Jones has become a ‘coronavirus pandemic pin-up’ following his presence on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and Lorraine.

His calm and valuable advice has earned Dr Hilary many new admirers, with viewers taking to social media to call him the “Silver Fox Doc” and the “Delicious Doctor”.

Hilary, 67, is married to wife Dee, 49, and she has now spoken on how she is proud of him becoming a "pin-up".

Speaking to The Sun, personal trainer Dee said: “I love that people are admiring his looks. Good for him. He’s 67 and still turning heads.

“It’s quite funny because he’s been doing his own make-up and dressing himself instead of having a stylist, so he’s not even looking his best.”

Dee went on to say that Dr Hilary is busier than ever and said: "If he’s not on TV, he’s talking to medical advisors on the phone, or doing live consultations with patients."

Dee said it was a "big decision" for Hilary to be so involved with the coronavirus pandemic and to continue helping others.

"We have spoken about it as it’s a big decision when you are isolating together, but he knows the risks and he knows what to do to keep himself, and our family, safe…

"I might not get as much of his attention as normal, but I’m happy to share him. I’m the proudest wife in the world."

Dee, who has made fitness workouts for a number of celebrity fitness DVDs, and Hilary met in 2008 and went on to marry in 2016.

Dee says: “I was the GMTV fitness expert helping people get in shape for summer and he was the doctor giving health advice.

“We were filming in Spain and really got on. A year later we were both at a friend’s wedding, re-connected and we’ve been together ever since.”
