David Bowie Biopic ‘Stardust’ Debuts First Clip

A short teaser clip for the upcoming David Bowie biopic Stardust has been released.

Directed by Gabriel Range, Stardust recounts Bowie’s first trip to the United States in 1971 with his publicist Ron Oberman and how it inspired the creation of his Ziggy Stardust alter ego.

Johnny Flyn acts as the pop star, and successful comedian Marc Maron plays Oberman.

Bowie’s music was not allowed to be used in the documentary by his family.

Stardust‘s world premiere was scheduled to be held at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York last week, but it was postponed due to coronavirus.

Jena Malone plays the role of Bowie’s first wife, Angie.
