Amanda Holden has been snapped enjoying a bike ride with her family after breaking lockdown rules to see her parents.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda, 50, looked deep in thought as she made a low-key appearance as she dressed causally for the bike ride with her husband Chris Hughes and their daughters Alexa, 15, and Hollie, nine.

Amanda, who was reported to police for making a 200 mile trip to see her parents earlier this month, wore a black long-sleeved top with a zip down the middle along with a pair of geometric patterned grey and white gym leggings.

She accessorised her look with a pair of black trainers, a black cap with the letter ‘A’ on the front as well as a pink cross-over body bag and a pair of sunglasses.

The Heart Radio Breakfast presenter, who was gifted a zimmer frame by Simon Cowell as she celebrated her 50th birthday last week, peddled along on a pink bicycle as she was joined her husband Chris and their two daughters.

Amanda looked deep in thought as she rode along the road with her family, after she was accused of breaking lockdown rules earlier this month.

Mum-of-two Amanda said she had received a “distressing phone call” from her 75 year old stepdad Leslie, and that’s why she made the journey.

Amanda is said to have arrived to see Leslie and mum Judith, 71, after leaving from Richmond upon Thames, Surrey, on Friday 12 February.

A spokesperson for the radio star told The Sun: “Amanda is aware of the rules and is devastated she had to break them.”

Amanda’s move left her neighbours angry as one slammed her for not thinking of key workers or vulnerable people.

They told the publication: “She must have known what she was doing was wrong.”

But, Emily Andrea has since spoken out to defend Amanda and insisted her rule break isn’t as bad as those who have been attending parties.

Writing in her OK! magazine column, the 29 year old doctor said: “Lots of people have criticised Amanda Holden for what has been reported as breaking lockdown rules by travelling to her parents’ home in Cornwall. But I feel there may be more to the story.”

Emily continued: “She has elderly parents and said she received a distressing call from them, so if she felt it was an emergency she was only doing the right thing for herself and her family. We don’t know all the details, so it’s difficult to say if she did break the rules.”

Peter Andre’s wife added: “I feel very differently about that compared to people who are having large gatherings or not sticking to the travel regulations. Sometimes your particular situation doesn’t quite match what the rules say and it’s difficult to apply them to your circumstances. We just have to try to follow them the best we can.”
