Abbey Clancy thanks This Morning’s TV vet for saving adorable puppy after emergency surgery

Abbey Clancy had to rush her adorable puppy into the vets when it had a little accident and she has gushed over the work her vet had to do.

Posting a black and white snap of her with her family's black Labrador Elvis wearing a cast, Abbey thanked This Morning's TV vet Dr Scott Miller for helping her pup.

Throwing up a piece salute while kneeling in her back garden, a sunglasses wearing Abbey explained about the emergency visit.

She wrote about having to take her pet in to the vets during the coronavirus lockdown: "Shout out to all the amazing vets still working through this crisis risking themselves to help animals. #thankyouvets @drscottym a special thank you to you for helping our little pup elvis."

In a post to her Instagram Stories the mum-of-four shared a separate picture of Dr Scott with Elvis in his pink cast: "Huge thank you to wonderful @drscottym for helping our little pup elvis."

The model, 34, has been quarantining with husband Peter Crouch and their four children, Sophia, eight, Liberty, four, son Johnny, two, ten-month-old baby Jack, and at their Surrey home.

She said during a chat on Peter's BBC podcast that her former footballer hubby took the lead when it came to teaching their new pet and how they like to sit in his cage.

"Peter likes getting in the cage with the dog and he likes treating him with biscuits. He is a good trainer. The dog cage is the biggest one we could get online and it fits Peter, all four children and the dog."

On their daily walk near their neighbourhood Abbey shared a clip of Peter riding around on a motorised scooter while wearing flip flops.

He made his wife giggle as he completed a perfect spin before performing his signature robot dance.

"I don't think flip flops and a Segway are a good idea Pete," Abbey could be heard saying before he proved her wrong.

Later, eldest daughter Sofia proved she had the skills to match her dad as she performed her own tricks as the group carried on their stroll in the late evening sunshine.

Peter even pushed Liberty while she rode in her bicycle as he balanced on the scooter, and his son Jonny walked alongside.

Abbey, who was treated to breakfast in bed by her four kids for Mother's Day while in lockdown, recently told OK! Magazine how she is still trying to crack balancing being a working mum.

"I’m still trying to figure the whole work and mum-of-four dynamic. I think for any mum who has to or chooses to go to work, you still get stuck with that mum guilt.

"But for me, I feel like it’s important to set a good example for them. I want to work and still be me while being the best mum I can be."
